HOUSE OF GRAPHITE

General's Draughting Pencil #314 (G314) is a round, burgundy-finished, wood-cased pencil built on a thick (1/8 in.) extra-soft 2B graphite core. Made in the USA from genuine sustained-yield incense cedar, it ships pre-sharpened and un-tipped (no eraser) and is valued for keeping its tip shape for consistent line width. Despite the historic "Draughting" name (it carries on the classic Eagle/Sanford 314 draughting line), it is now marketed and used chiefly as a soft drawing pencil for sketching, shading, highlighting and detailing, as well as design and architecture.
