ARCHIVIST'S NOTES
The Musgrave 1101 Yellow Special is a revival of a historic Musgrave classic and the company's flagship school pencil. It is a yellow, hexagonal #2 writing pencil fitted with a banded ferrule and a latex-free eraser, made for dependable everyday use in schools, offices and tests. It is manufactured in Shelbyville, Tennessee from wood-cased graphite, is PMA-certified non-toxic, and is sold in 12-, 72- and 144-count packs.
This specimen: Yellow Special 1101 in grade #2.
