ARCHIVIST'S NOTES
Bruynzeel is a Dutch pencil and art-supply brand (founded 1948), now part of Royal Talens. The Expression Graphite line is a mid-range range of artist/hobbyist drawing pencils positioned below the premium Bruynzeel Design line, with cedar casings and thick graphite cores of roughly 2.2-3.6 mm for good graphite transfer. It is sold in tins spanning 2H to 9B (a 6-pencil set in HB-8B, product 60311006, and a 12-pencil tin covering all 12 grades 2H-9B, product 60311012) and is intended for sketching, drawing and illustration.
