ARCHIVIST'S NOTES
Apsara Gold is a current HB writing pencil from Apsara, the school and office brand of Hindustan Pencils (Mumbai, India). It has a hexagonal soft-wood barrel in a black-and-gold "executive" finish and uses a bonded HB lead, with the maker emphasising break resistance and easy sharpening for everyday handwriting. It is a plain, non-eraser-tipped pencil, typically boxed in tens with a complimentary sharpener and eraser.
