ARCHIVIST'S NOTES
The Apsara Beauty is a hexagonal wood-cased writing pencil made in India by Hindustan Pencils, finished in a classic black design. It is offered in HB grade with a dark, extra-strong lead aimed at everyday handwriting, and uses a soft-wood casing for easy sharpening. The pencil itself is not eraser-tipped (no ferrule), though retail packs are commonly bundled with a free separate sharpener and eraser.
