HOUSE OF GRAPHITE

The Maped Black'Peps Jumbo is an oversized triangular graphite pencil sold in a single #2 / HB grade, with an extra-large barrel and matte finish designed to index young or developing hands into a correct grip and to stop it rolling off the desk. Its break-resistant graphite core is bonded to a premium elmwood casing so it sharpens cleanly in a standard two-hole sharpener. Marketed for general school, home and office writing and drawing, the pencils have no ferrule eraser (some packs instead bundle a separate latex-, PVC- and phthalate-free block eraser); recent production has been made in Vietnam and Thailand.
