HOUSE OF GRAPHITE

The Ticonderoga Black (model 13926) is the black-finished version of Dixon Ticonderoga's classic wood-cased pencil: the same #2 (HB) writing pencil as the iconic yellow original, but with a matte black-lacquered barrel instead of yellow. It has the brand's mild hexagonal shape, a proprietary graphite core that lays down a smooth, dark #2 line, and a latex-free eraser fixed in the signature green-and-gold ferrule. It remains in current production (PMA-certified non-toxic, widely used for school and office writing) and is manufactured in China/Mexico. This specimen: Ticonderoga Black in grade #2 (HB).
