ARCHIVIST'S NOTES
The Ticonderoga My First (originally sold as the "Beginners") is an oversized round learner pencil, 13/32" in diameter, made for pre-school and early-primary children in the early stages of learning to write. It carries a single #2 (HB) graphite grade in a yellow wood casing and comes eraser-tipped; the wider My First family also offers a triangular "Tri-Write" version plus pre-sharpened/unsharpened and with/without-eraser options. It is a current product, manufactured in Mexico.
