HOUSE OF GRAPHITE

The Ticonderoga Renew is Dixon Ticonderoga's eco-oriented #2 (HB) writing pencil, built on a hexagonal, unlacquered barrel made from 53% pre-consumer recycled wood and wood scraps that are finger-jointed together rather than cut from solid slats, so the joints are visible along the barrel. It writes with a standard #2/HB graphite core, has a natural-wood finish imprinted in soy-based ink, and is fitted with a latex-free eraser in a green-and-yellow ferrule. Sold pre-sharpened in 10-packs (model X96110) as a general-purpose school and office pencil, it is PEFC-certified and PMA-certified non-toxic. This specimen: Ticonderoga Renew in grade #2 (HB).
