HOUSE OF GRAPHITE

Dixon's economy yellow wood-cased writing pencil, the budget sibling to the company's premium Ticonderoga line. It is sold in a single #2 (HB) grade with a quality graphite core, a hexagonal barrel "cased in 100% real wood" (the manufacturer does not name the species), and a latex-free eraser, and is marketed for everyday school and office writing and standardized tests. The line is currently in production and offered in multiple pack sizes (8-, 10-, 12-, 20-, 24- and 144-count; models such as 14400/14401/14402/14408/14420/14412); reporting documents that Dixon Ticonderoga splits manufacturing of these pencils between China and Mexico depending on batch, so no single country of origin reliably applies.
