Winsor & Newton's Studio Collection Graphite Pencil is an artist's drawing pencil offered across a wide grade range from 4H to 9B, built on a round, easy-to-sharpen aromatic cedar wood barrel with a break-resistant graphite core that sharpens cleanly to a point. The harder H grades suit fine, intricate detail while the softer B grades give rich shading and broad tonal coverage, making the range suited to detailed illustration, tonal drawing and expressive sketching. It is sold individually and in metal tin sets (notably 6- and 12-pencil sets, the latter in Soft and Medium grade selections). This specimen: Studio Collection Graphite Pencil in grade B.
