ARCHIVIST'S NOTES
The Viarco Tecnigraph 1951 (anglicised as "Technigraph") is a vintage technical pencil made in Portugal by Viarco, the country's historic pencil maker (founded 1907, brand registered 1936). It was produced in a graded range using a numbered degree system; documented grades include 2B (degree 1) and 2H (degree 4), and the pencil has a plain end with no ferrule or eraser. The original line is discontinued and now found only as old/vintage stock; the unrelated multicolour "Vintage Collection 1951" (Super Desenho) HB writing pencil is a separate modern reissue.
This specimen: Technigraph 1951 in grade 2B.
