ARCHIVIST'S NOTES
A wood-cased HB graphite pencil from Marco's Grip-rite line, made in China by Marco (Axus Stationery, Shanghai). Its defining feature is a "Reuleaux"-style rounded-triangular barrel that helps fix the fingers in position for everyday writing in schools and offices, and the 9001EM version is fitted with a tip eraser. The casing is basswood; the same Grip-rite line is also offered in a 2B grade under the separate article number 9002.
