HOUSE OF GRAPHITE

Marco's "Natural" 6000 is a standard HB graphite writing pencil made from lightly finished linden (basswood), left largely bare to show the natural wood grain and sold in recycled kraft-paper packaging. The hexagonal barrel has a plain, eraser-free end and is imprinted "Natural 6000 HB-2" (the HB grade corresponding to a US No. 2); it is offered as a 12-pencil set (art. 6000-12CB), with a separate jumbo HB version (art. 6050). Marco is a brand of Axus Stationery (Shanghai) and the pencils are made in China; it is a current, general-purpose everyday writing pencil. This specimen: Natural in grade HB.
