Tombow's ippo! Kakikata is the children's handwriting (kakikata) pencil in the company's ippo! school-stationery range, designed for early learners and sold without character prints in plain, printed and natural wood-grain finishes so it meets school rules on writing instruments. The hexagonal pencils are offered in soft writing grades B, 2B, 4B and 6B for handwriting practice and everyday school use. A boxed gift version, the ippo! Oiwai pencil, pairs the 2B pencils with a MONO eraser and name/message cards as a start-of-school present.
