ARCHIVIST'S NOTES
Staedtler's ergosoft graphite range is a family of German-made, wood-cased pencils built around an ergonomic triangular barrel with a soft, non-slip grip surface and super-bonded, break-resistant leads. The standard-width Noris ergosoft 152 takes an HB lead and a printed name field for school use, while the chunkier jumbo formats — Mars ergosoft 151 and Noris ergosoft 153, both with roughly 3 mm leads — take a softer 2B lead aimed at children's first writing and easy drawing. Casings are made from certified, sustainably managed (FSC/PEFC) forests, and the pencils are sharpened rather than eraser-tipped.
