ARCHIVIST'S NOTES
The Cretacolor MegaGraphite (art. 170) is an oversized "jumbo" graphite drawing pencil with an extra-wide 10 mm hexagonal cedar barrel, a thick graphite core (approx. 5.8 mm), and a polished grey finish. It is sold in five grades — HB, 2B, 4B, 6B and 9B — and is manufactured in Austria. The large diameter sits comfortably in the hand, and the smooth, easily blended graphite suits bold, expressive sketching and drawing while still sharpening to a clean point.
