HOUSE OF GRAPHITE

Nataraj Drawing Pencils are a graded graphite sketching range made in India by Hindustan Pencils, the company behind both the Nataraj and Apsara brands. The hexagonal, wood-cased pencils use a break-resistant "super-bonded" graphite lead and are sold as a 12-pencil set covering 6B to 6H (B, 2B, 3B, 4B, 5B, 6B, H, HB, 2H, 3H, 4H, 6H), suited to writing, drawing, sketching and shading on paper. Marketed as non-toxic, the set is typically supplied with a free eraser and sharpener; the pencils themselves are not eraser-tipped. This specimen: Drawing Pencils in grade 5B.
